28.08.2019 - ESPRIT Netzwerk AG has commissioned the financial IT company MACD to develop and operate securities routing for 22 member banks.
This brings the number of MACD customers to over 60. The company further expands its market leader position in electronic securities trading in Switzerland.
The mandate includes routing to one or more of the following MACD brokers: UBS, Credit Suisse, Basler Kantonalbank, Zürcher Kantonalbank or Bank Vontobel. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Swisscom.

ESPRIT Netzwerk AG, headquartered in Solothurn, Switzerland, was founded in 2006 and is dedicated to the joint operation of IT as well as the central procurement and maintenance of goods and services for the 26 member banks.

MACD is the market leader in trading connectivity in Switzerland and supports more than 60 banks and stock exchanges across Europe and worldwide.
Around 40 IT engineers, computer scientists and economists are working on innovative solutions at locations in England, Germany and Switzerland. Since 2004, MACD has been a member of the non-profit-organisation FIX Trading Community, where George Macdonald, CEO MACD, is currently involved as a Director.
