Technical Account Manager

We are market leader in trading connectivity in Switzerland. More than 60 banks and stock exchanges across Europe trust in our comprehensive range of services in software development, project management, consulting, hosting and support.

At our locations in England, Germany and Switzerland, around 40 IT engineers, business IT specialists and economists work on innovative solutions.

What awaits you at MACD

You enjoy direct communication with our international customers. You are the interface between different stakeholders and enjoy finding solutions or simply helping. Broadly speaking, you will work in the following areas, depending on your skills:

Application Management

  • You are the contact person for application-related inquiries regarding MAX for our customers
  • You analyse and process requests concerning MAX
  • You help our customers with application questions and show them tips and tricks

Project Management

  • In projects, you are responsible for the rollout of MAX
  • You implement customer specific requirements (customising)
  • You coordinate the technical implementation with the customer

Product Management

  • You take MAX specific enhancement requests from customers and discuss them with your colleagues
  • You influence the quality assurance and carry out application tests
  • You contribute your ideas to the further development of our solutions and processes


  • You have a degree in computer science or business IT
  • You enjoy direct customer contact
  • You work in a structured and customer-oriented way
  • You can work independently and have initiative
  • You have good analytical skills
  • You can express yourself well in German and English (spoken and written)
  • You are used to working in home office
  • If you have basic knowledge in one or more of the following areas, this is an advantage:
    • FIX message protocol (
    • Knowledge in a programming language such as C# or others
    • Microsoft SQL Server, or SQL Server Management Studio or database language SQL

What we offer

The majority of us work voluntarily in home office. Of course, this requires a good workplace at home. We also meet periodically at our central locations, which are easily accessible by public transport.  In order to enable the best possible cross-location collaboration and communication, MACD provides all employees with a modern infrastructure.
