An Overview of Data Protection

General

The following gives a simple overview of what personal information we collect and store. Personal information is any data with which you could be personally identified. We align ourselves to the statutory requirements imposed by the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016:679 (GDPR). We hold data for customers of MACD, potential customers, partner companies, and other contacts such as people applying for a job.

Data Collection

Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?

The data collected on this website is processed by the website operator. The contact details can be found in the legal terms.

How do we collect your data?

Some data is collected when you provide it to us. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This data is primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system you are using or when you accessed the page. This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure the proper functioning of the website and can be used to analyse how visitors use the site. We also store data that is relevant to our business relationship with you.

Job applications

The data that you provide us with will only be used to process your application. At the latest 6 months after the conclusion of the application process (where the role is given to another person), we will delete your data from all databases and spreadsheets. However, it is possible that your data will continue to be held in our e-mail system and backups.

What information do we store?

We currently hold general information as part of our business relationship with you such as your name, e-mail address, job title, company, telephone number and in some cases general personal information that we have gathered in the course of doing business together. We will also make and store notes following meetings.
This could, for example, be data you entered on a contact form or when you give us your business card or apply for a job.
We store information that we have gathered as part of our business relationship - we do not electronically search for personal information about you.
We only collect and use personal information lawfully and in ways one would reasonably expect.

Who do we share the information with?

We will only transfer your data to another party if there is a legitimate reason to do so, such as fulfilling our contract with you, or where we have received your consent.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You always have the right to request information about your stored data, its origin, its recipients, and the purpose of its collection at no charge. You also have the right to request that it be corrected, blocked, or deleted. You can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal terms if you have further questions about the issue of privacy and data protection.
