IT Support Engineer

With our products in the field of stock exchange trading - in particular trading services, exchange and broker connectivity - we are the market leader in Switzerland. More than 60 banks and exchanges across Europe rely on our services in the areas of software development, project management, consulting, hosting and support.

At our locations in England, Germany and Switzerland, around 40 IT engineers, business IT specialists and economists work on innovative and challenging solutions.

Your Tasks

As an IT Support Engineer in our Technical Account Management Team you will work on the following topics:

  • Support customers in 1st and 2nd level support, online and on the telephone
  • Answer customer questions via E-Mail
  • Monitoring of the systems and pro-active communication
  • Generate, analyse and resolve tickets
  • Run scripts to improve the support tools and generate reports
  • Analyse FIX logs and understand the customer workflow
  • Help test our software
  • Keep our internal documentation up to date
  • Work within project teams
  • Co-ordinate projects and customer on-boarding

You will communicate directly with our international customers and collaborate very closely with our Software Engineering Team. You will have the opportunity to gain significant knowledge in the complex applications of the financial market.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree or a training in the field of IT would be an advantage, but is not a must.
  • You like to work in a customer orientated way.
  • Ideally you already have experience in customer support.
  • Project management is not a foreign word for you.
  • You like to work in a team and with individual responsibility.
  • You have good analytical skills and affinity to IT.
  • You master the English and German language in speech and writing.
