On June 9, 2022, our MACD Conference in Zurich took place again after three years. Over 80 participants from more than 30 financial institutions met for a personal exchange and gained interesting insights into current topics and developments in the financial world. Topics included the digitalisation of fund markets, an update from MACD, and current developments in the economy and financial markets.

For almost two years now, the MACD team has been working almost continuously in home office. After evaluating the results of the employee survey and weighing up the pros and cons, the MACD management team decided on a very brave home office arrangement, which will continue regardless of the Corona situation. George Macdonald, CEO, explains this step in an interview:
After having successfully migrated eleven previous XKYTE customers to MAX, we were now able to fully migrate the first GLOX customer with direct connectivity to the SIX Swiss Exchange to our next generation product MAX. In addition, the Swiss private bank was the first MACD customer to launch the "MAX FX Trading" module for foreign exchange trading. This is a milestone for MACD and gives us the basis to now gradually bring more GLOX customers onto MAX. We would like to thank our pilot customer for the trust and the very good cooperation!

Together we achieved the following milestones:
Two customers went live with MAX as their order management system, one of them including the quoting module. Another customer went live with the MAX Order Connect functionality. The update of the preceding system GLOX to the current version 10.6 was made available in the entire MACD network.
With the new version of GLOX, the Best Order Execution functionality (EBBO) of SIX Swiss Exchange is available to all members of the MACD community.
