Bloomberg and Reuters ROR conformance tests have been completed and the first customer is already live. It is also possible to connect directly using Erste Bank's own rules of engagement. FIX versions 4.0, 4.2 and 4.4 are supported and other flavours are available on request. Initially trading will be in equities but this will later be extended to other asset classes. 29.03.2006 Proquote chooses XLFiX Proquote, a London Stock Exchange company, has chosen XLFiX. Customers using their low cost order management and routing service will now be able to connect via FIX without the need to install a standalone FIX engine. The EMX connection is implemented via FIX using our financial connectivity solution, xConnect. The installation is hosted at our site, thereby ensuring that all of the IT maintenance and support are outsourced. xConnect interfaces to MQ Series on one side and EMX, via FIX, on the other. Orders for funds are thereby routed electronically to the providers. EMX is a leading electronic message exchange which allows intermediaries to buy and sell Unit Trusts, OEICs and Investment Trusts from product providers (http://www.emxco.com). Adding this market to those supported by xConnect is a significant step forward and enhances the range of product classes supported. 20.10.2005 We recently returned from Sao Paolo, where we carried out FIX training and consulting at Bolsa de Mercadorias & Futuros (BM&F); Brazil's commodity and futures exchange. While we were there, Dave Linaker, together with their development team, built several proof of concepts for delivery of market data and routing messages between hubs, fanning out the information at the end customer's site. 20.10.2005 Five Swiss banks have signed up to our hosted connectivity solution globalXtrade. Connectivity is based on Macdonald Associates' xConnect connectivity product. xConnect provides multiple interfaces to match a user's requirements. It uses QuickFIX as an embedded FIX engine, and can provide flexible interfaces via FIX, XML, MQ Series, JMS, Excel as well as a Java trading front end. The banks, who are going live between September and November, include Wegelin & Co. Privatbankiers, Privatbank Von Graffenried AG, Cornèr Banca SA and E. Gutzwiller & Cie, Banquiers. The banks will be connecting to the SWX Swiss Exchange and virt-x markets.
