GEORGE MACDONALD
George started working in financial markets in 1989 after graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Computer Science. Initially working in Germany and the Netherlands, he joined Macdonald Associates in 1992.
In 1996 he moved to Switzerland to work as a consultant at SWX Swiss Exchange, which was in the process of moving from ring trading to a fully electronic system.
Still based in Switzerland, he provides both consultancy to customers and support for the company's product range. He is co-chair of the FPL Global Fixed Income Committee and a member of the EMEA Governence Board.
Macdonald Associates' main product GLOX provides a powerful market side OMS for equities, funds, derivatives and fixed income. It can run both in a fully hosted ASP mode as well as at the customers' site.
